Quality and safety for our patients
Our work is regularly audited both by the authorities and by international certification bodies (ISO 9001:2015). As a licensed European tissue procurement establishment, all reproductive medicine work processes are subject to defined legal requirements and thus meet the highest quality requirements as well as hygiene, safety and documentation standards.
In Austria, this is verified by the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES). The relevant audit is carried out in accordance with the Tissue Safety Act, the Tissue Procurement Ordinance and the Tissue Bank Ordinance. These national laws are based on an EU directive, which the member states must enshrine in law and thus implement.
Through quality management, training programmes and IT solutions precisely tailored to our processes, which we have developed and successfully established over many years, we ensure that all regulations and laws are strictly observed by the entire team.
The entire treatment, from patient admission to discharge, is recorded and logged electronically. This includes every detail of our work (physicians, medical staff, laboratory), as well as the maintenance and inspection of equipment (e.g. ultrasound devices, incubators) and the materials used (e.g. culture media, dishes). Every change is recorded.
